Project description
I am a Research Fellow for the mentioned research group within the psychology department at SHSU. I was also a note-taker and debriefer for a focus group study regarding student's experience with racism and discrimination. My colleagues and I presented the workshop "Inclusion, Acceptance, and Bumps Along the Road", devoted to Microaggressions at the 15th annual Diversity Leadership Conference at Sam Houston State University (Feb. 2019).

AIM Core: Behavioral Science Dept. at UT MD Anderson Cancer Center Duties include, but not limited to:
- Research and Data Support: questionnaire data entry (MS Access, FileMaker, and RedCap), survey/questionnaire formatting, data collection by phone, and survey mail-outs (i.e, 4,000+).
- Training for projects requiring physical and DXA assessments.
- Screening (i.e., EMR), recruiting, and consenting patients according to protocol eligibility.
- Possess current certification in Phlebotomy to perform blood draw within MDACC institution.
- Independently curate an instruction manual and recruitment flyer for a FDA sponsored study (assignment by AIM Core).
- Light media communications, mobile application design/testing, and graphic design for the core.
- Creation of standard operating procedures (SOP) documents for quality assurance and technical activity.

- Awarded Recognition Leave 2020: to recognize and reward outstanding or exceptional work performance during a fiscal year.
- Participate in relevant continuing education workshops.
- Billing entries for research support hours executed.
